About us

We kindly turn to you – kind-hearted people around us – with a request to support us through 2% of your taxes. This year again, our civic association is an eligible recipient. You can also support us with a voluntary financial donation to our association's account.

This support is extremely important to us. Thanks to it, we are able to provide the necessary therapies for our son, Samko.

Samko is  6 years old. At first glance, he may not appear to have a disability, but every day he faces the challenges of a neurodevelopmental condition that is still undergoing long-term diagnostic evaluation. Many examinations and therapies are not covered by health insurance, and those that are often involve long waiting times or therapy intervals that are far too infrequent for a child to make proper progress.

As a mother, I often find myself in a very difficult position – either my child does not receive the care he truly needs, or I reach out to people with open hearts for help.

In 2023-2025, thanks to generous donors, we were able to cover a large part of Samko's therapies. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all known and unknown donors, friends, and family members. The therapies have clearly helped him and give us hope for further improvement and development.

However, the therapies must continue, and financial resources are quickly running out. Samko currently attends physiotherapy, speech therapy, ABA therapy, special education sessions, hippotherapy, myofunctional therapy of his mouth and professional psychological support. Significant costs are also associated with nutritional supplements and a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, which, unfortunately, he is not entitled to receive by prescription.

Samko has a global delay in psychomotor development, muscle hypotonia, weakened coordination, impaired communication skills, and autism spectrum disorder. His condition is also affected by multiple brain lesions that interfere with the cooperation of different brain centers.

Every 2% donation or financial contribution means real, tangible help for us – another therapy session, another step forward, another chance for Samko to grow and, one day, live as full and independent a life as possible.
